In this short 3 minute video, Hans visualizes change in the developing world and helps to illuminate the importance
of applied mathematics and actual measurement. He uses child mortality rates and number of children born per woman,
as representative indicators of overall change for developing nations, to explode myths. He draws links from wealth
increases to health increases, to drops in child mortality, to drops in children born per woman, and sustainable
population size. He uses Ethiopia as an extremely conservative example.
wealth = health = sustainability.
